I have an idea and know to call Custom Script in workspace.
But, I don't have any idea to call Javascript inside the agent desktop or a poral.
Site Configuration->File Manager-> Javascript files
Please give me any link or idea to understand the purpose of it.

Hi All,
Is there anyway to restrict a agent from selecting a past date in contact workspace.
My Scenario :
We have to store only the future date for a passport / visa expiry dates. If it's already expired then we shouldn't allow an agent to create record.
In which way I can achieve this process.

i would like to redirect external survey (Survey which hosted on external webpage) when chat disconnected and provide Chat ID, Customer Name, Email Address to that external page?
we have close_redirect_url attribute to redirect page when click disconnect button but not sure how to send contact detail to this page, can anyone help me on this.

I'm writing a quick article in response to a question I received on another post inquiring if it was possible to open an external webpage instead of a Customer Portal page when the "Chat Now" link is clicked. Using standard functionality, this isn't possible, but using the techniques I've described in my other Syndicated Widget articles we can modify the core behavior to match our requirements.
i would like to implement Syndicated ConditionalChatLink on the external page, however once chat link clicked there i want to a Model window with some custom code and when user click on ok button in model window then launch chat.
Our custom site is built with Polymer (0.5 upgrading soon to 1.0). We're trying to use the Syndicated ConditionalChatLink widget but it seems they are not compatible. It appears when RightNow.Client.js calls document.getElementById("myChatLink") to initialize onclick event handlers nothing is returned because Polymer's shady/shadow DOM effectively hides it.
I wanted to ask a question about a new functionality I am working on. We would like to embed the RightNow Chat into an iFrame window on our main site. We need the chat to be able to rebuild itself on any pages on our site. I have been reading the Chat.Communicator.js, Chat.Model.js, Chat.Controller.js, and the Chat.UI.js files to understand how the system treats closing the window, disconnections, reconnections.
For many customers, the default chat service States displayed by the Oracle Service Cloud Syndicated Conditional Chat widget do not meeting their business needs.
A common desire is to have the chat link be available, even if all agent's are busy. This gives the user a chance to wait in the queue if they want.
This can be done easily by setting the 'min_sessions_avail' setting to 0, and the 'wait_threshold' setting to a very high value. I usually put it at 1 day by setting it to 86400 seconds.
Need to display value of field from RNT onto the ask page.
